eSIPS: Energy Smart Insulated Panel System, is a panelized home division of timber home manufacturer Davis Frame Company.eSIPS is a pre-assembled and insulated prefab structural wall and roof system that uses a closed cell foam that uses soy bean agrol as a replacement for a portion of the petroleum that is traditionally used in polyurethane foam insulation. Partnering with the company BioBased Insulation, eSIPS uses foam produced from soy beans grown in the United State to create a complete thermal envelope for the homeowner. In addition to our soy-based eSIPS insulated panel system, we are proud to provide spray foam insulation by BioBased Insulation, that is only available through a global network of trained, certified dealers. Serving the greater New England region, eSIPS administers the first bio-based and water blown spray foam insulation to be ICC-rated (ESR 1383). BioBased Insulation has continued to develop new and more sustainable insulation products that incorporate natural, renewable ingredients, such as AGrol ® - a 96% pure bio-polyol - to replace a portion of the petroleum that's found in traditional spray foam insulations.
